for most of the time i played S3 (my ps2 just broke a few weeks ago, but i don't exactly feel sad about not playing S3 ... neither i feel like i need it NOW NOw NOW) , i can tell that ALL, or atleast 95% of the funny things/moments/stuff/whatever from socom series was ENTIRELY taken out of the latest release of the socom franchise, socom3.
i don't feel like anything really, REALLY funny like in previous socom could ever happen in 3. i mean there are funny things of course like doing donuts and running people over while doing that, but most of the "new funny things" don't really compare to the funny things in previous socom
now claymores explode like a normal mine, upwards that is ( WTF zipper? whats wrong? ever read where it says on the claymore " FRONT TOWARD ENEMY"? i think you confused that for "TOP TOWARD ENEMY" and i don't think that exists.)
socom2's only problems besides glitchers were hit detection and a bit of lag ( both related). the IW problem was due to normal weapons being affected by hit detection problem (wich IW for some reason could over-ride) and not being capable of fighting back the no-hit-detection-problem-affected IW 80 and his user most of the time. and M14 had this IW hit-detection problem immunity in a lesser degree.
and to still keep on topic, as i said, most funny things and stuff were taken away, and new possible funny shyts were
PREVENTED. (imagine a car with lots of people ontop, that would be some serious funny shyt)
