AMERICAS army:rise of a soldier
I was reading up on the upcoming game americas army, and man it sure sounded good. With some really cool features. I honestly love socom3 but with the likes of battlefield2 and now americas army. Wich do you think will be on top. Beacause americas army is looking awesome.

i dont think America's Army will be on top, alot of entertainment is sacrificed for realism, but thats what its made for. Unless theyve changed it, and now theres more then three weapons in a room. (M16, AR[SAW] and Sniper)
And i can't see any system handling what Battlefield 2 does on the computer.

I think it all depends.
I personally hate first person shooter games, and thank you R6: Lockdown and Delta Force: Black Hawk Down for increasing my hate. Socom and its franchise will be on top of Third Person Shooter for quite some time. I havent really looked into BF:2, I heard it looks good but after seeing its commercial where the Humvee is swerving back and forth shooting at a helicopter then jumping a blown out bridge, I kind of lost interest in the game.
I work at Hollywood Video/GameCrazy--after one more week I'll be able to rent BF:2 for free, so I'll check it out...I'm a completely biased Socomunist though so dont expect anything extremely good to come from my review--the game would have to be pretty damn good to change my mind on Socom 3 and its stance in the Militaristic video game world.

America's Army has a good plot though, with the ranking system involved. But, like I said, First Person Shooter sucks.

I was going to look into this game. But, I haven't seen any other game to come close to SOCOM or 007 Goldeneye for N64. Though the N64 didn't have an online feature at the time, all my friends was over here everyday playing 007. The only other game I played online like SOCOM is Monster Hunter. Its a 3rd person action adventure, online RPG. The game is hot. the way you hunt down wyverns for cash and skin for armor weapons and everything else. Part 2 is getting ready to come out along with a PSP version. You all should check it out. http://209.11.151.163/monster/

It wont be as good as Socom, but I will get it for sure. I've heard some rumours that you have to specify what class weapons you would like to use (sniper, assault, sub-machine) and you have to stick to that the entire game. I don't really mind this feature, but some people will hate it. And I don't really care for FPS's but Delta Force: Black Hawk Down was good, so this one should be.

But you can't go on ratings, it's personal preference really... Has anyone played the computer version of AA?
