Features left out of socom 3 that were in Socom 1&2

Features left out of socom 3 that were in Socom 1&2
There are a lot of features from socom 1 and 2 that i wish were in socom 3. some are commands, some are menus, and some are just general things. i made a list:

movement menus:
1) Lead to- only used it in socom 1. good feature for when your totally lost
2)Attack To- also used a lot in soocm 1, but would be really usefull in some missions in s3. nothign like making bravo into teh terminator
3) Stealth to- since we have missions now that we cant be seen in, why did they take this out?
4) Run to- bravo is way too slow sometimes
Headset Commands- Secret:
5)INTIMIDATE- i miss this so much! its a pain in the *** to make some enimies surrender that you hae to capture (still havent captured that one dude in the heart of the fist)
6)Bravo snipe- took it out of socom 2. kicked arse in s1
7) Low Profile- god how i missed this
Kill Target- Break Hold fire for only one enimie, good if mult enimies are around and you want to kill one
Other HS
9)Ambush- diff tehn clear area in respects to rushing instead of holding back
Armory:
10)Equip slots- why did they lessen it to 2? considering all the stuff in socom 3 you can carry, it seems pointless to why they tok it off.
11)Grenades- Ok, in socom 1 you could have 18, but now you can only have 4? wtf? and they are friggiun heavy now! i at least want to have three per slot like in socom 2.
12)Smoke- remember when you always had to carry less smoke no matter what you did? if you chose 203 smoke, reg soke, or any white smoke you would have three, in S2, 2, and 3. why is that?
13)Flashbangs- actually stayed 6 in socom 2. why did they lessen it to two in socom 3?
14)Red smoke- remember when this created a long up-rising stream of red smoke that could pass through buildings? and how you had 6 of them? now its just 2 big *** mist that you cant see through. you cant signal a pick-me-up if they cant see you!
15) Mines- they are so friggin heavy, and you only get 2 per slot. bull
Online menus:
16) ok, they totally changed this. what happened to seeing clan messages long with online messages at start? and they totally messed up the friends. you have to do some james bond **** to see the breifing room their in. and thats another thing too.
17) why did they make it so the new br's wil; appear at teh top until a certain point where they go to the bottom again?
CONTROLLER CONFIGS:
1 WHY THE **** DID THEY TAKE OUT SURE SHOT? when all they had to do is make L1 the TCA.
19) AND LEFTY- lefty is now pretty much scout, but then where did scout go? oh yeah, the Left and Right triggers, but then thats now- aw fudge it!
ONLINE IN GAME MENUS:
20) orders dont make a sound anymore.
21)only protect hostage for mode speific commands (no defuse/plant bomb or anythign else)
22)NO TEAM MESSSAGES- huge mistake for micless
23)Only 3 preset taunts, and all character taunts are ames for board. wish there were more characters (liek specilast taunts)
GAMEPLAY:
24) rifle butt only takes away half health when you get hit, not that im complaining (and thank god they dont do it right away when your in mid air jumping and they are already dead)
25)lost socom feel. its supposed to be differnt, but not a differnt series different!


OTHER (wishes for s4/ not in category)
26)drive to command would be a gift
27)Carry body command for tough situations, or a hgelp carry so you can shoot your pistol and your teammate while dragging it (like in cut scene in terminal transaction)
2Holdfire unless engaged
29) hold fire if using non-silenced
30)Switch name option instead of logging off
31) multiple names- whyd they take it out?

STUFF I FORGOT
32) thermal is only 4x zoom

LIES TOLD TO US

1) THird person Night vision- not happening
2)Third person thermal- woulda kicked ***
3)THe credit card thing. not officially released from zipper, EVER. came in form of going to a part of online that you need to find, only warning a few days before by leak
4)Single player AI is unparrelled and they learn from your actions- HAHAHA. i think they were actually joking about this crap!
5) enimies use civillians as cover- no, they kill them at first site.

Well I found 6 grenades were too much on socom 2, heck you could carry 9 if you wanted to couldnt you? That was just gay, who the hell carries 9 grenades with em into battle, or 6 for that matter. Thats what I didnt like about socom 2, all it was was a grenade fest for the 1st minute or 2 of the round, just dumb. I'm glad they made it 4 max, thats a little more realistic.

Oh and another thing you forgot that they left out was that little yellow dot that told you when your fire would not clear a ledge or a berm ect. Nowadays online I see people go prone and try to kill people only to have chunks of dirt fly up in their face, this has happened to me a couple times too.

well, i told the guy who made a faq about this on gamefaqs, but it's not up yet so you might as well benefit...shooting them is one thing, sure. Capturing SADMAT and HARI RAMAN is EXTREMELY easy if you have the right equipment. Just throw a flashbang grenade at them and they'll surrender usually. IF you don't want to carry flashes, then tell your teammate(s) to carry some.

If not, then just shoot him a few times without killing him.

Oh, and about the micless thing. You don't deserve to play if you don't have a mic, I hate micless folks. and, I can deal perfectly fine without any of those features.

i totally agree...the only reason i play socom because most ppl have mics

about all those lies and stuff those were promises yea but they shouldnt've promised nething they took those out during beta testing becuz of so many complaints

about mics, yea i mean the game is so hard without communicating becuz this actually helps you cant wait for psp and ps3 version of socom

i noticed tho alot of games this year have been so good just b4 ps3 comes out well that could be a couple of years actually

didnt they also say and show a video of you being able to use night vision and thermal vision while using the hum vees and other vehicles. And that it would be used in a third person view. I have beet the game on comander and captain, and been playing online and have yet to be able to do that...

i wish they had the simple looking meny of socom 2 (main menu) in socom 3, i mean dont get me wrong its beautiful looking but socom 2 for me had that special feel while logging on to the main menu. thats it otherwise im pretty content with socom3
