Router: LINKSYS Wired Etherfast Cable/DSL Router
Model Number: BEFSR41

My mic doesn't work from time to time (Not often), but everything else seems to run as expected for me.

Linksys Net. Everywhere Model: NR041.

My mic doesn't work, even after "opening" the ports or setting my ps2 to DMZ.

UPDATE 11/9!!!!!

I started this topic, because I tried everything with my Linksys BEFSR41 v.3 router. Opening ports, enabling DMZ, resetting router, etc. All these were suppose to work, and none of them did. My Linksys BEFSR41 V.2 worked fine, but that is a old router. After hours and hours of trying to solve this problem, I found my solution. I took advice from this forum and one I had on another website. I purchased the D-LINK DI-604 router Version E, Firmware 3.51. I hooked up to the router, and logged onto Socom 3, and everything worked fine. No opening ports or any of that, I just plugged in the router! I purchased this router for $32 plus $3 shipping on www.Newegg.com not sure if the website will post. This is a great price compared to CompUSA, etc... So if you have the money, pick up this router and your headset will work. I beat the single player game last night, and unlocked everything I need. I am done with this b*llshit, and will be playing multiplayer non-stop.
