This is why I need the version numbers, because as you can I see have the same models and different versions and one works and the other doesn't.

Just recently purchased a D-Link DI-524, works perfect with multiple PS2s. It's wireless-g 54.

D-Link 604 works fine for me but I did have to configure it by opening some ports.

Netgear WGR614 V5 wireless then hooked into my PS2 as a bridge is a WET11 Linksys Wireless Bridge. Everything works fine for me, granted, i had to open the ports, but other than that everything works great!

Right now looks like D-link works pretty well, or I will try to fix my old router with firmware. Just refreshing maybe more people check forum on weekdays!

Yea, forgot to mention you have to update firmware on the 604, but you have to do that for all routers at some point. Opening the ports is pretty easy if you go to D-Links website and search the help info. Walks you right through on how to do it. Took me about 5 minutes to set it up once I went there.
