I have looked all over, visited numerous S3 forums, but found no answer yet. Im not talking about rank, such as enlisted or officer rank, but the # rating each player receieves. At first i thought it had to do with Win/Loss percentage, but i even found people with negative ratings. Does anyone yet know what factors into it to give you this number?
No one really has a straight awnser. Or one that actually 'works' to get your rating up. From what I've heard/read, once your in officer ranks you need to win games have more kills then deaths, pretty much all your stats count towards your overall score. Dissconects and aborts (leaving games) really do a number on killing your rating. And since alot of games were counted as D/C's on the weekend, alot of people are screwed. Personaly, I can't even get my rating up, no matter what I do. I don't really care anymore about it. I'll just wait for a patch, or w/e comes. Just play for fun dude.
My rank is Lt. (Double silver bar) and I have 87 games played 69 won. I wish Zipper would tell us what matters, and what doesn't. It would solve alot of issues..
Right now my rating is about 1200 putting me at about 120, Win/loss hovering around 60%, and kill/death ratio at 2.3 with a little over 550 kills. Looking at the top ratings, it seems most people up there have absolutely crap kill/death ratio's, but not all have all that high win/loss %'s either. Disconnects would seem to make a difference, it seemed for a while i was getting a disconnect for every game i sucessfully completed.
Least im not the only one complete lost on ratings :P
You know what? Being ranked as an ensign pisses me off...alot. But you know what pisses me off even more then not being able to play with my clan in ranked games simply because I played more games then they did ?
Getting booted by the mother****ing server every couple of games!!!!!
Part of the reason I'm a ****ing ensign is because of all the games the ****ing server boots me out of. God this game pisses me off.
