Close Quarters Stealth

What weapon do you use in a close quarters map for stealth? Maps that require stealth in close quarters would be like Killing fields small, where There are snipers on the wall that will shoot you if they hear you kill someone on their team... or same thing with Citadel small.

As a Terrorist, I find the 9mm uzi with laser sight and silencer the ultimate stealth weapon when taking out someone nearby... hold down the trigger near the enemy and they'll take at least one bullet to the face, and it's so quiet no one will hear you.

As a SEAL I just put a silencer (the long one) and red dot on an HK G36K and run around with basically the same effect.

What do you use?

For socom1-2 i would use the mark 23sd and m4a1sd. I would stay low and in the shadows, crawl alot. I cant wait to get socom 3, the gulliy suit going to be great. Can you switch the BDU's. if so im going for black,gray,od green nomax cqb suits.

The sub-machine guns are usually the best choice for close-range. They pack a mean punch due to their fast fire rate (and the recoil, too). I used the HK5sd on SOCOM 2 and I still use the HK5sd on SOCOM 3 (even if it isn't for close-range). I also just use the 9mm Sub on terrorists.

that THING is not an HK MP5SD... It's a frikkin MP5 with a silencer screwed on... i HATE that thing. The integral silencer on a real MP5SD like the one in Socom 2 doesn't affect accuracy or effective range... it rocks... the one in socom 3... just isn't even worth TRYING

When playing terr. the F90 does very well. Equip a supressor, it already comes euqipped with a red dot and youre set. 50rd mag on full auto is deadly close to med range.

the smg's are the way to go with cqb stealth. 9subs take peoples heads off quickly (i was a s2 smg user, i know how to aim high) but im a bit dissappointed with the seals side, the mp5 sd is just a mp5 with a bolt on, not a real mp5sd. the hk7 is basically a 9sub with less accuracy, range, and a smaller clip (i think its 20 and the 9sub is 30, i cant remember precisely at this moment) the p90 is definately one of the better short/med range weapons in the game.

I'm just upset that Zipper put the short clip in the MP7... they KNOW HK makes a longer clip, it just sticks out the bottom like the uzi or the MAC 10

yea, the iw is amazing for up-close now, i havent used it online yet, but i had a front grip and silencer and just ran straight into enemies as if i had a shotgun and pulled the trigger, in three shots, they were dead and didnt even know

I havent used terrorist smgs yet, but i love the HK7 even though it only has the 20 shot clip it makes it up in power. It tkes like 2-4 bullets with a sd and its firerate they wont know what hit em

I find laying down with the IW or STG extremely effective wen equiped with a silencer and most imprtant front grip. It makes it amazingly accurate. Even if they see you laying down you will still kill them 90% of the time due to the guns amazing accuracy/power/fire rate!
