Just think of it this way 49.99 US X how many people are online right now X 2. Thats probably the amount of money its made so far. And just think some people are going to wait till its at gamestop or some resale store before they go and buy it.

Most of the is profit too, Think about how much it takes to make one game. Few dollars at most! and they sell it to you for 50$ but thats how everything is

Creating a game doesn't cost "a few dollors". Its not something you do overnight.

Not really...

You are forgetting about development costs, advertising costs, printing costs, publishing costs, distribution costs, etc...

Zipper isn't getting a check for $50 x "Total # of games sold". That isn't how a business works.

Why do you think PC developers are switching to smaller box sizes, DVD, small manuals (a lot of times in PDF now), etc..? Because it costs a lot of money to create, advertise, and eventually distribute games.

Sometimes, costs > Return.

Btw, the Red Wings RULE.

ya! i ment it takes 2 dollars to make a whole game...... (its hard to be sarcastice online)

If you think about what i said, not just trying to be smartass, then it would make sence. Its is very cheap to make the game, im talking about the cost it takes to pay for the dvd, the case and put it all together. im not that dumb.

Send a message via AIM to Godfather, The
Zipper almost went bankrupt making this game. That's why for a while people thought there wasn't going to be a Socom 3. I also heard talk about another company buying out Zipper and taking over production of Socom 3. But that was a long time ago and it obviously never happened so that's good.
