Need to become a verified user!!!
I know the mods already locked many topics like these.. but on page 121 of the official socom 3 guide, it says''Certain features in this game require you to become a 'verified user' in order to achieve any of the ranking options. For further details see game manual or go to www.us.playstation.com/gamemanuals. Now I did not believe those guys who said you need a credit card or whatever but guys it says it on page 121 right above ranking tips on the right side..take it as you will!

I was reading around, but everybody seemed very sure about this and that you do not need any verification so guess what i went to take a crap and read in the guide...

We all know you need to become a "verified user," but no one from an official source has stated exactly what "verified" means, whether it be a credit card number or just playing enough to get through the enlisted ranks.

I know for certain no payment is needed, and personally from experience highly doubt Zipper would make you verify a credit card number to play ranked or to register a name. We will all find out tomorrow, but the announcement was to stop the rumor before it got out of hand. No need to cause a panic only a day before the release, as I stated in the announcement.
thats what commander wrote... so if you guys do not know how it is verified, how can he be so sure for certain that it is not going to be with a credit card..and besides all i did with this topic is to say that it does need verifying and that you guys talk crap to that guy who said you do need a credit card!!!!

yeah i did because you guys think you know everything...first you ALL were sure that you do not need verification....than when a guy said ou need a credit card all of you start talking sh.. about the guy.. and now it is in the guide so what are you saying know. of course.. we all know that already. do not post..i posted it so you can waste more time of your life thining you know everyting..there you happy now

How many times do we have to reiterate? The guide says NOTHING about a credit card. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. It speaks of verification, yes. But NOTHING of credit card verification. Read this carefully, since you obviously didn't read the other hundreds of posts on the matter. CREDIT CARD VERIFICATION is NOT VERIFIED.

dude chill out, I did not say you need a credit card.. and yes credit card does mean verification...what are you scared your mom and dad will not let you borrow theirs ha.. sack gesicht

Yes, that's it. I'm 20 and I'm scared my mom and dad will not let me borrow their credit card...
