I just got called that my copy of Socom 3 is in at EB Games. I thought I'd make a post where people can discuss their likes/dislikes about maps, weapons, new game play modes for online play AFTER you have played the game. Please do not post if you have only played the Beta or post anything based on hopes for what you want to see.

Not to be an d!ck, but please only post once you have played and can comment on things, let's try to keep this thread clean so the mods don't have to cut useless posts.

Opened!

First few comments - I feel the new login screen and animation is great. It is easily navigated and is more organized than I remember in Beta. Everything moves swimingly around, and I feel everyone will like it just as much as SocomII or Socom.

Please post your opinions, reviews, or comments about the new online gameplay.

I just got done watchin one of my buddies playing it, and people actually die in one, two or three shots. THAT IS MUSIC TO MY EARS!

The game seems to run better than it did in the Beta, and dare I say, looks better too. I'm still having a delayed reaction time getting into vehicles though.

I played another map besides Harvester. Graphics looked like crap. Kinda bummed about that...

I think the hits per death ratio has improved greatly. The vehicle stuff is annoying (especially getting run over or lit up from behind) and not knowing where any of your team is unless they're right next to you is too. But the graphics are improved, the maps are nice, and the menus are very sleek.

(P.S. Anybody want to help me with my mic issue?)

My first game i was sniping and went 20-8 and got MVP...It was amazing that people died.

But im having trouble verifying my account i put the CC# and it say try later...wtf!

This is the best socom so far, ive been playing socom since zipper came out with number one. I love it, its like playing S1 more than S2 (yes that is a good thing). All the guns are pretty equal, it's all about preferance now, which is great also. the verifying thing is ok i guess for the reason to get rid of people having 20 names. There will be a much cleaner ranking system now. Simply put it's great.

its great for people who have a credit card or have a mom that isn't a total biatch about stuff like this. oooooo i want it sooo bad though. It doesn't come in until tomorrow(12th) for me.
