How long would it take Socom 3 to become a Greatest Hit?
I'm not sure if I should buy Socom 3 now for the $50+tax. I'm in the middle of buying a house and moving to another state... I would probably only play the game like once a week. But I know it will be the best online game ever made! I'm in a crossroads I don't wanna wait too long to get it. So does any1 know how many copies a game has to sell or how long it takes for a game to become a greatest hits? Thanks ahead of time
The game becomes a "Greatest Hit" after a 1 mil net sales....

It depends, i think the basis is 1 million net sales. But the catch is if the game is still selling strong even after that limit. It will stay at that price. Why lower it if its still selling strong right? Once it levels off it will drop to greatest hits
its 1 million net sells and i think it has to be out for at least 9 months to become a greatest hit some are out for like 10 months before it happens some are out for almost 2 years like VC it was out for awhile before it got to GH status
just like gran turismo ... it took like 2n half yrs or sumin like that but gran turismom is not socom so i think it will clear it in that 9 month period

Well think logically, I seriously doubt that in 1 month they are going to cut the price into what, a little more than a third? That would ruin a decent amount of profits. I would go with 4-5-6 months, or even more somewhere in that range.
