Change weapons while alive?

I did a search didnt find this so i figured i woulnd ask, can you change your weapon after the round if your still alive? im tired of havin to commit suicide or get tk'd just to change my tactics.

sry if already a topic if it is let me know

EDIT: can some1 tell me if the avatars too big? it looks kinda big but then again, i dont count pixels

No, but you can pick up some one eles gun and keep it the next round.

No, even if the round is over the armory is still not accessable. The game reads that you survived so it doesn't think you need a change in loadout where as those who died would want to alter something. It is just like Socom2 in terms of when you can get/change your weapon and equipment.
