Agreed, They did this to me too many times. And I said this before and someone argued with me talking about, its two different release dates. Mathiyus Thanks. Like I said before Reservers: Oct. 11th, Buyers: Oct. 12th.

EB Games doesn't work like that.
They don't only hand them out to people who pre-ordered first. Once it is up for sale and people are called to come pick up their copies, everybody can come and purchase those that aren't already on hold for the pre-orders.
Often the date on the EB Games website is the date that the item ships, meaning, it will usually arrive in the store the next day. However, this is not always the case. Games such as Halo 2, GTA, SC:CT, and a few others arrived the same day or the week before. Socom is obviously extremely popular so there is a very good chance it will arrive and be for sale on the 11th (when on the 11th depends on the UPS/FedEx guys).
This is how things worked while I was an employee at EB. Hope this helps anybody out there wondering what the dates and whatnot actually mean.
