-it specifically says on EB games' website that if you pre-order the game then you get it before anybody who didn't, if u didn't nd you have gone in to a store lately it was probably too late for you to pre-order and so they told you the 12th or something later than the 11th

i've heard the same effin' thing from every store that i called today......all i can really get is that the people that answer the phones really don't know anything besides when they get paid.

I'm in the chicago area and gamecrazy told me they get a shipment on the 11th and they will be stocking them that day. So I really don't know if its just your area err....? I don't know, but good luck looking and remember you've been waiting what 8 months now you can wait a couple more days, it will be horrible horrible days, but wait just makes things better heh?

what part of chicago u live in...im there...jw cause i never heard of gamecrazy nd i thought it was just a store in other parts of the country??

EB Games doesn't work like that.

They don't only hand them out to people who pre-ordered first. Once it is up for sale and people are called to come pick up their copies, everybody can come and purchase those that aren't already on hold for the pre-orders.

Often the date on the EB Games website is the date that the item ships, meaning, it will usually arrive in the store the next day. However, this is not always the case. Games such as Halo 2, GTA, SC:CT, and a few others arrived the same day or the week before. Socom is obviously extremely popular so there is a very good chance it will arrive and be for sale on the 11th (when on the 11th depends on the UPS/FedEx guys).

This is how things worked while I was an employee at EB. Hope this helps anybody out there wondering what the dates and whatnot actually mean.
