Respawn as an option?

Sorry if this has been talked about already, is socom 3 going to be one of those war games online were its a giant respawn (like "Call of Duty" or "killzone"), or will it be like the other socom games where you have to wait till all your players are dead to play again and respawn is an option?

From interveiws I hear that they will have Demolition, Escort, Extract, Convoy, and Checkpoint. Covy I believe is when Terrorist and Seals have to destroy every Truck and Hum V in the map. Checkpoint is the team with the most checkpoints wins. Im not sure but someone feel free to back me up.

What I think he means is will you be able to chose respawn as a game option. Say you are playing control and instead of having a 6 round game have a 20 minute game of respawn and whoever controls the most points during that time win. I for one would like to have respawn incorporated into the stats. Have repawn games count.

You can play the old style Socom with rounds, but you can also select respawn if you want.

To answer your question yes it will be good old socom dead is dead. but you can allways respawn after a round our in special respawn games.

its supposed to be like socom 2, with normal rounds or respawn rounds.

You can play the realistic version by having one death in a game of 11 or so rounds, or you can play the respawn where it all keep's comin' at you for a select time.

convoy is where you have to get a vehicle with someone in it from one area to another, and the opposing team has to blow it up. checkpoint is like "king of the hill" in other games, take over a point, hold it as long as you can. (battlefield and unreal games have this, if you dont know what i mean, go play something besides socom)

In the "preview" The developers commented on making respawn games that are not suppresion. (eg. demolition respawn, the two teams try and "push" the bomb forward towards the enemy base for the plant)

Its going to be like the other socom games. Once u die u gotta wait but..........you can play any map any type (escort, demolition) as respwan that doesnt count ur stats
