Gamestop's representative told me this about the demo...
I went in today to preorder Socom 3...When I did I asked him for a demo and he said they were running behind but would call me when they got in. Anyways, we talked for a few minutes and he said he heard the demo would tie into the beta....bull or not?
Well...thats what Im asking...if it is tied into the beta, then the answer would be yes, if not then most likely the answers no. i have no idea if its true or not...i figured someone here would know.
I think it would be pretty sweet...definatly would be showing appreciation for costumers...andm aybe thats why they are charging ten dollars for the demo...without preorder.
The reason battlefield 1942's demo was online was probably because its single player and online are nearly the same.
The demo will most likely not be online from what I have heard.
I also dbout that that the demo will be online because that is what the beta is for. The demo will most likely ( 99.9% ) that it will only be single player.
I doubt they would have a Beta and an online demo in the same month. It's kind of pointless, you have people testing, and people playing normal. Plus, why would they use a entire server just to host a demo of a game that's coming out in one month?

Well, from what the clerk said; the demo wouldnt have seperate servers (I assumed because of the way he said it...he said " And from what I understand, the demo will give you access to the beta")...I guess we'll see.
