This is something you said in another thread but I thought I would bring it up to prove a point and I know I will get flamed because people with a lot of posts on any forum are always...nevermind.

So basically there you are saying that you want to keep getting new members, right? Well, like myself, a lot of people will read through forums before joining them, and some of the dumb comments that are being said will turn away a lot of more experienced gamers who are considering joining.

You also say that we need to uphold the rep of being the best Socom forum. Quotes such as these don't help.

Let me get this straight:

What you're basically complaining about is people talking poorly about Halo, as that's your only example. Well, I suppose Halo and the XBox altogether.

You're suggesting we do something to stop people from saying how much the despise the XBox and how much they love the PS2.

A simple problem arises - one that isn't as easily solved as one would hope. We're on a forum dominated by PS2 gamers. These gamers have opinions; they may not be justified or intelligent, but they're opinions nonetheless. The fundemental problem is that not only do we not have enough manpower to censor everyone's opinions, but we also don't want to censor opinions entirely.

So, you see, while we do our best to remove posts that are ridiculously stupid, as those quoted above, we can't ensure that we'll read and respond to every single blatantly stupid post. So the problem is less of having too many "fanboys" and more of having too much of everything else - there are tons of posts everywhere, it's not easy to go through everything. And once again, even if we did go through everything - most of which we do - there are still limits on how much a moderator will censor from someone's opinions.

Atomic43 I only see one person your quoting. Only one person wouldn’t be a problem, more of a nuisance then anything. That could be take care of easily. If you want to complain take it to one of the moderators by PM. Because frankly your coming off as a whiner at this point in time.
