I dislike our Governor as much as the next guy, but I really don't think this is a bad thing. If a game is rated mature, it should only be sold to those that are over 18 years old. Plain and simple.

The only people that would hate a law like this would be a minor... sorry, xa.

They already enforce it at most places, but what really erks me is the prohibiting of renting M rated games to minors. I live 2 blocks away from a blockbuster and my parents are usually busy or not home when they are open. :/

Well, you can have your chance to play such games once you're over 18 years old. Sorry, is all I can tell you... but I have "been there, done that". I'm still somewhat shocked when I was actually carded at a Funcoland (now Gamestop) when I first purchased Mortal Kombat for my Sega CD system when I was barely over 18.
