yeah, i remember when the s2 demo came out. it was within days of the s2 beta test. but the thing is... they wont send it to you. there is no warning that it is coming out. it is just shiped to eb games and gamestop and its first come first serve. you have to go pick it up and just hope that your not to late. i put my reserve down on s3 in march but if you didnt allready just bring 5 bucks down and put it down on the game when it comes out, you shouldnt have a problem. it is a promotion to get people to preorder the game so the company is sure about how much they can sell before it comes out. also it gets people into the stores which is good for the stores. just keep in contact with your local shop and go pick it up. im almost positive that they wont send it to you. thats just the beta.
dirty is correct. 2 weeks ago when i put my deposit on s3 i asked about promotional items and they said they didn't have anything yet and then the guy at they other end of the counter said "yeah we don't even have the demo for that yet". i also asked that since i just deposited my money for the pre order would i still be able to get any promo stuff and he said yeah just bring the receipt with me and i could pick up whatever they had to offer whenever they had anything to offer. i went to gamestop by the way.
I cant believe you guys didnt know about a demo. Every other forum has been talking about it. Not every gamestop knows about having one or getting one but some do, I suppose the same with EB. The word so far is that you have to pre-order it to get it, check out this forum, there are TONS of demo topics...
