Thorough List of Weapons for Socom3 (8/4/05)
Introduction:This has been posted before, and I know so don't comment about that point. Since information has been released there has been much conflict and discussion over what weapons actually were in the game and which ones were not yet confirmed. I have went ahead and searched for any information on weapons for Socom3 (September 2005). The list of weapons thus far has been sketchy, so I have went about finding every unconfirmed and confirmed weapon for the third installment of the socom series. As more infomation rises, more will be added accordingly. The following is what I've found out so far.

Great post, I just have a few comments/remarks to make.

First off, I am pretty sure the G36c is going to be in Socom III.

Secondly, I can't believe they are leaving the damn M14 in the game. Come on, if they are going to do away with any guns, get rid of the M-14, its older than the M-16.

Also, I hope that with keeping the HK5 they are also going to keep my beloved HK5K, it would really be a shame to see that go as well.

Anyway, great post, may clear up some concerns other people are having.

My thoughts exactly. It seems they went above and beyond here giving just the seals the M14 from the looks of it as of now. They can still change that in the next few months, but thats the way it is looking to stay. The terrorists get a total makeover with weapons and their armory looks fantastic with that setup. The Hk series is my favorite. I don't want to see the HK 5K go anywhere, same as you.

Didn't miss it, check terrorist confirmed weapons...

Not sure what the deal is for this one. It is on terrorists only as of now, but it could move to the seal side in the next few months I suppose.

terrorists could get G3 as well and they DEFINITELY
need the GP25 (so they dont complain about m203 but i think the STG77 got a GL too) for either AKS-74 (i think) and AN-94 (AG in the game)
both of those guns with GP25 are in the Ghost Recons for PS2 and xbox i think (not GR2)

RPK was needed long time for the terros, they need a support machinegun of their own :) lol

with all those idubs and XM8s and stuff terrorist need a + with themso thats why they get RPGs and dont complain about it. i wonder if SA-7s and Stingers are going to be online..... i guess not. but this rocket launcher from the marines should be, cuz from what ive seen in Mercenaries (and thats a pretty realist game about stuff with weaps i think) you can make it to chase vehicAls (<--- nice funny spelling of vehicles)

well it looks real nice my comliments. but could you show me a pic our tell me in what vid the m14 was. Cause i haven't seen it. Looks like the terrors are on the right way weapons wise.

I hope they haven't shaved down the pistol selection that much, pistol's only respawn rooms would suck.

The m14 has not been in any videos to the best of my knowledge. It was in the E3 version of the game, however. I don't think they would scrap it entirely.

Those are the only pistols that have been confirmed, sorry to say. Again, there are several unconfirmed or neglected pistols and we don't know much about what more they may add. This is all the most recent up to date list.
