Do you think people will play socom3 once the PS3 comes out?

I mean since there gonna be new games with better graphics on the PS3, do you think that Socom3 will last for about 2-3 years? Or do you think people will just play the new games for the ps3. And just the people that cant afford the PS3 will play this game? Because im gonna get the PS3 but i really like Socom and thats my favorite game that ive been playing socom1 and socom. I really want to keep playing this game. I dont play no other games mostly except the Socom's

I have said this in many other posts.....socom 3 will be compatible with PS3 as will every game back to PS1, there will be better online options and all that jazz so chances are that once people get the PS3, SOcom3 will actually become more popular. You will be able to download more maps and alot of other options. You see, the new technology doesn't mean that people will stop playing....

The second reason for the game becoming more popular after PS3's release is the fact that they will most likely re-release S3 for the system. This new game would have even MORE options and all that jazz then if you were to use PS2's version. They will also re-release to make people come back BECAUSE of better graphics. People will stop playing the game because of this and I think Zipper relizes this, and will do something about it.

So yes, the answer to your question is that more people will play, Socom 3 will loose no popularity.

Ofcourse people will still play socom3. PS3 is backward compatible again as far as i know so you can just pop it in and go. Now it wont be as slammin graphic wise as what will come out on the ps3 initially but once socom 4 comes out its a whole new ball park. Myself i generally only play socom, i really dont have time to play anything else with work and life. So once again the answer to your question is a BIG....

well i don't know about you but i dont think im goin to buy another expensive console near the release of socom 3. I might get a ps3 once the price dies down.

i reckon you should still play socom 1 and 2 nline too cause each one has got different levels and weapons.

Theres no doubt, many people will play it on the PS3 and stick with the PS2, but as prices decrease on the PS3 system (which wont be for a long while) more people will join up and the PS3

I'll barely be able to afford SOCOM 3, let alone a next gen system. I think I'll be sticking with the PS2 for quite awhile longer. Well, unless my PS2 breaks or I win the lottery or something.
