I heard that the bigger ones will be about twice the size of last bastion or bigger, and the smallest one was about the size of last bastion.
We would not get bored with 12 maps!!
most of us usually only play the fishhook and crossroads half the time. much of the others aren't played as much. the people i play with usually play for hours on a map rotation of Fishhook, crossroads, desert glory night stalker and blizzard. 90% of the time we play those maps, it's only the other 10% we play the other maps such as guidance, requim, frostfire, vigliance foxhunt.
I have not even played abandoned, shadow falls, bitter jungle, rat's nest in months.
the new 12 huge maps on socom 3 will not get boring, **also keep in mind that there will be a grip load of customization options for each of these maps also such as: Switching from daytime to nighttime, adds a whole new dimension to the map, We will be able to play every kind of Game type for each map (Extract, Escort, suppresion, breach, demolition, and the new Control and Convoy types) also respawn. This gives A lot more of combinations to each map. ex: 12 maps x 2 day/night x 7 game types x 2 respawn/original = 336 combinations alone!!!!!!!! i didn't even mention the ability to add or take away vehicles!
come on!, it's outrageous to say that having only 12 maps is going to get boring fast. Socom 3 is going to be a bad *** game, i cannot wait for it, and we all know it can only be everything socom II is and more.
