in socom 2 you can choose the time i think the longer time in a normal game is 10min round and 20 in respawn

no its not...go to a regular room...a foxhunt, and it is 5 mins, if you MAKE a room and default is 6 but not regular.

If you think you would be bored in these big maps, there are plenty of options to customize your own games to your liking. If you dont want to be waiting on people who try to draw it out, There is an option to make every game type a respawn setting, where teamates will respawn after a period of time until one team accomplishes the mission.

If you want to play games closer to classic Socom II you can always make an 8vs8 room and you can make the map smaller to accomodate the smaller room.

Zipper has made a lot of great changes, but they've also given us a lot of options to be able to make it very close to socom II if you choose to.

Socom 3 is gonna rock.....DONT HATE THE GAME, HATE THE PLAYERS!!!

yes!!! More maps will be able to be downloaded directly through the internet, and they will be stored on the internal HDD (if you chose to spend the extra dough for it)
