12 new maps is really enough.

I think that there should be more maps for socom cause we have been waiting for this over two year's now get us a break

The lead programmer said the online maps are bigger, but not that much bigger. It's the single player maps that are six times bigger, from what I understand.

12 maps is more than enough maps. :D I play Vigilence 75 percent of the time and the other 25 percent would be medely and Clan Wars. Plus i think people wont play Socom3 as long as Socom 1 and 2 since the PS3 will be out around 6 months later after Socom3 is out. So by then i think people will start to play PS3 games. But i actully going to try to play this game at least a year unless socom3 just dies because of the PS3. I hope they are already making Socom 4 for the PS3.

If the rumors are true about the host being able to change game modes, and between night and day and all that other **** people are talking about. Then 12 maps are plenty

socom3 is compatible with PS3, and will have the same online option, and with the new technology that we will deffinately see in the PS3 you can bet that the game will be able to hold----more maps, less lag, more options, and plenty more where that came from

Dont forget theres still only goin to be a 6 min time limit so your not goin to have to wait any longer than on socom 2.
