Save Points OR Save Anywhere?
I read that Socom 3 will have savepoints along the way because of the enormity of the maps (6X Larger)

That is a relief because Socom 2 pisses me off. I love the game but I hate, hate, hate having to start a mission over again after playing it for like 30 to 40 minutes.

I wish though that it was save anywhere. It might make the game easier but maybe they could put like 3 save anywheres along with save points that dont waste your save anywheres.

Besides, who cares if the single player game is easy? We all know its the multi that will keep us happy!

uhhh Multi with vehicles.. hmm Anyone thinking of Typhoon Rising?

In any event the game will be killer

Saving Anywhere can lead to extreme un-funness. The whole challenge of the game is to stay alive, and if you know you can simply restart from one minute ago, it is not fun.

If you can save anywhere you wont have any fun playing the game. In splinter cell you can do that and it is too easy to even play. IM happy the way it is.

Well easy or not I am getting sick of playing for like 30 minutes or so and having some stupid glitch wreck my game and make me start all over.

I was just playing that hydros-something-or-other stage for the 300th time. The damn glitches on that stage are so horrible I want to kill every member or Zipper for letting such obvious CRAP by.

Either it will tell me that I have done every task possible except securing the dam only to run around for an hour lookinf for someone else to kill.

I also love it when I am trying to beat the clock on disarming that last bomb and for some reason it wont let me interact with it. WHY CANT MY TEAM DO IT??????

These things would be a little easier to get over if I didnt have to do the whole friggen mission all over again.

Give me easy any day of the weak. I play games for the visual quality as well as fun gameplay. It is not fun to play the same level over and over again and it isnt very good for visual quality to have to look at the same damn dam all the time..

ARRRRRRRR

Saving when you want results in.

he there's a door (save) open door hmm nothing walk walk another door (save) open street walk down street corner (save). This is boring and ruins the entire game.

If you think that you will save too often then actually read my suggestion and you will see tha is IMPOSSIBLE. I said 3 save anywheres. Thats what R63 does for the xbox and it works well. That way people can decide when to save it but they have to be careful or they might use up the saves and be stuck doing a hard part over and over again.
