Live Wire Socom 3

I know most of us here hate xbox, but the recent opm magazine has stated Socom 3 will become more like xbox live. It will have messaging, less lag and the ability to be online once you start. This is a huge for playstation and lets admit xbox live is more polished than ps2 online titles. I hope it is the same for more games on the ps2 and I'm guessing this is where the ps3 will go next. Just wonderin what you guys thought.

To be honest I was thinking more along the lines of PS2's Playonline service. I have played both XBL and Playonline, I have to say XBL is organized but Playonline has ALOT to do. Playonline is better than XBL in my opinion, but the only probelm is there are only two or three games active on the playonline service. It is not popular, but it is the paying online service equivalent to that of XBL for the PS2. The messaging center and e-mail is exactly like playonline. That is why I had hoped they were bringing it over to it. They aren't though, just adding in those features. Free online still, which is good and terrible at the same time.
