Missions more/less like s2?
Do you think the missions in s3 should be similar, in style that is, to missions in s2/s1? Post what maps you want to be modeled and which need to die. Imo they need to model a map after the russian mission where you have to find the bomb lab and the jungle mission where you have to find/destroy the drug lab. Those were awesome missions that involved multiple styles of gameplay. Against the Tide and the last Albanian mission, however, were terrible. I pray that we dont have any more of that

Single Player is also changing alot too. At first i thought this might be bad, but not so much anymore. In number two, you could literally take out every person with complete stealth(i know, i do it). In number three, so far i've seen alot more live action, and firefights.

i hope they keep foxhunt. To me that is a very fair map and with not much lag. Also i hear complaints about how big the maps are goin to be and i can understand that. I mean...if it were down to just 2 players left, it would be really stupid with such a huge map, and the time will also have to be longer. I don't know about all of you, but i can't stand it when you have a made up room and the round is about 7 or so mins long and all they do is camp. I would gladly deal with the lag cause it just seems kinda stupid for them to have huge a$$ maps

You can change the size to only a certain part of the whole map you should know this if you read any reviews about the game..
And the types of gameplay now would require players to be active and doing something or less they will lose the round. Like Convoy where if the seals camp and do nothing the terrorist can easily kill the convoy from a distance and end the round.

ok...i don't read that many reviews, all i know about the game is from this site, and i don't even read that much. that is kinda cool that you can make the size of the map change, but they are making the bigger maps to prevent lag from smaller maps. I read that Zipper was saying that 95% (or soemthing like that) of the lag that is cause is because of the small maps such as frostfire. If you can make the maps small, and they may still be as big as foxhunt at their smallest, but wouldn't that just cause lag???

Ok so what if you do get into a room with 16v16 some how 1 person from each side is alive that means just 2 people are going to be wondering around the full size of the map for who knows how long. Guess its just something were going to have to deal with. Unless the map shrinks during gameplay when the number of players decresses?

I was thinking about this too. Maps are going to take forever! It's hard enough having a clam war now because it takes at least an hour usually and to keep 8 ppl on for an hour is hard. Now, you'll have to keep up to 16 members on for what appears to be at least an hour and a half to two hours to finish a war. Sounds like my GPA is going to go down this year

lol....my gpa already dropped dramiticly, but owell, socom is da ****....all the clan wars that i have been in already have taken at least 1 hour and 30 mins. It is hard to keep people on. The way it looks now, that will increase alot, at least another hour or so. I also hate that rule #15, where if you are randomly challenged between 5 and 9 or something like that, you have to do it or forfit. That is just wrong
