from what ive heard you cant reserve your name. ive heard rumours of a site that you can reserve yout name, but i havent gotten actual confirmation so id say no you cant
Is it really all that important to "reserve" your Socom name? In my opinion, if you can not get the exact same name, just change one of the letters with the other available symbols!
I would like to reserve two names for Socom3. It will stick with you for awhile, and I'd rather have an original this time around. Even after purchasing it (at midnight madness even) there are still those EB games and Gamestop employees that take a copy and make names early.
As of now there is no place to reserve your socom3 name. I am thinking by the end of June there will be something out granted the release date doesn't get pushed from August.
You could always try to make a friend at a game shop where you plan to purchase SOCOM III. I had a buddy of mine who worked at GameStop give me a copy of Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorow for the PS2 that I had reserved, about 5 days before it was actually supposed to be released. Try to find someone who you know at your school who works at a game store.
