This forum (Showin' Off!) is the forum in which graphic makers show off latest graphics and ask for improvements.

Yes, we get graphics by the hour in most cases. BUT, WHY DO WE CONSISTANTLY GET IDIOTS GIVING IDIOTIC ADVICE?! If you cannot give anything worthwile to the thread by including ways of fixing the graphic, DO NOT POST.

This forum receives a large number of hits a day. It needs to be clean. So, would Uhh...Donkey, Angus, and several others please begin to give good advice to the sig makers that does not include the following choice phrases:

"LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111"
"Looks good. Keep up the good work."
"i thignk you sould fix that corner it looks realy bad but other than that it lookz cool!!!"
"... too birght"
"9/10" (This one gets me every damn time.)

I believe I have the support of the entire Graphics Staff for making this announcement. If not, by Christ's holy hand, please say somthing.

I cannot agree more. I would personally like to thank Refund for being thorough on his responses (he wrote me a few paragraphs :D ). There is nothing more frustrating to an artist (which is what i consider any gfx designer to be) than to be simply complemented. Although it is nice, i would rather hear criticism, or if there are complements, at least complements on specific things. I want to improve, not know that someone thinks my sig is "Sweet".

Thank God. Dont you people read the huge edits I make? Please be constructive. With this warning, posts are subject to deletion if no value is found to them. Please add value to your posts, I cant say it enough. This will be enforced, because, as many can see, there is just so much spamming by people in the showing off section.

Thank you Cheesy for bringing this to attention, and everyone do your best to follow what hes saying.

I see where you coming on this Cheesy, like if you have nothing constructive to say dont say anything at all but some graphically challenged people can only say that they think its bad.

Sure they should say what they like/dont so much like but we cant get angry is someone doesnt write a paragraph on how to add a filter effect on a render to make it blend into the background. ORto lower the opacity of the color overlay on the abstract brushing so it doesnt interfere with the... whatever.

We cant say all short post are bad but I think you agree with me that the post should be atleast constructive.
