OK so heres the Revolution info
(just in case guys

keep flaming down)
From Gamesradar, "Revolution will apparently play DVD movies, suggesting that games for the machine will almost certainly be available on this more conventional format, although it will still be backwards compatible with Gamecube games."
"Details regarding the size of the console have also emerged, and point to the machine being incredibly bijou. The vertically standing console is reportedly no taller than a regular DVD case, and is just over an inch wide. Small. Compact. Nice."
From IGN, "'During the quarter we announced that NEC Electronics will now use our 1T-SRAM embedded memory technologies on their advanced 90nm process, and that the initial designs to be incorporated in SoCs will be used in Nintendo's next-generation game console, codenamed Revolution,' said [the company's CEO Mark] Voll. 'We are excited to be a participating member of the Nintendo team once again as Nintendo will roll out its successor game console to the GameCube in mid-2006.'

A financial statement from the company (MoSys Inc.) that is providing the Revolutions memory mentions a 2006 release for Nintendo's next generation console
"The news is exciting for two reasons: first, it's official word that Revolution will again use 1T-SRAM, the same memory standard that GameCube utilized with great results. 1T-SRAM provides significant advantages over traditional SRAM in density, power consumption and cost, according to maker MoSys. 'Instead of six transistors utilized in a traditional SRAM storage cell, each 1T-SRAM storage cell contains only one transistor and one capacitor, thus reducing the silicon required and lowering cost. This technology has been proven with the shipment of millions of devices,' MoSys writes on the subject."

A leak from Electronic Arts claims that the Revolution controller is essentially one big touchpd, with no traditional buttons on the face or shoulders and no directional sticks or pads.
From GamesRadar, "In place of these traditionally crucial joypad features is a touch-screen, which can be programmed to display - and indeed use - any configuration of buttons, levers and steering devices, or anything else developers can devise and see fit to program into their game."
"This could provide developers with a level of freedom never before seen when developing control schemes, decreasing limitation and offering more innovative methods for controlling games."
