Sound Problems

Hey guys, I got a big problem here and was wondering if anyone can help me out with it. On alot of the maps, I have barely and sound. I wont hear any bullets or footsteps. But i hear the music from the game and i can hear the characters voices when they throw gernades. I dont hear them explode though. This problem only happens on certain maps. This has been going on for about 2months. 2 weeks ago, i had to buy a new playstation and the problem wasnt resolved. I even deleted all my network settings ( had to for the new ps2) and still nothing. I've come to a point where I only play crossroads and fishhook cus they never have the sound problem.

I have had this problem a few times, but it is mainly when the connector in the back of my PS2 slightly falls out, or there is massive lag. Other than that, the only other thing I can think of is a scratched disk. Because firewalls wouldnt do anything to sound coming straight from the game.

I had the same problem so I went out and bought a new S2 disc. That didnt help. Then I checked out my audio options and realized that some of the levels were set all the way down. I dont know how or why that happend.

Go check your sound levels.

ive had that happen to me a few times mostly its i get blown up with gernade and then i cant here unless i restart also i used to have a problem with silent m14's dude whould pop up behind me and just silent me

Usually when that happens to me it's because my RFU Adapter cord is not plugged all the way into the back of my ps2, and usually I have to adjust it.

That's also a big problem for me as well, and with flashbangs to. I just here a ringing noise for like 5 seconds and then my sounds go mute. I'm used to it by now though.

I noticed that happened to me on crossroads, I was playing and got hit with a granade and my sound FX quit working but I could still hear the music. I restarted and it was fine though.

if it happens to you when a grenade goes off to close to you, there's no need to restart. just go back to the main menu (Briefing Rooms, Clan) then select options, go down and click save, then select no and your sound will be back to normal.

well, it only happens on certain maps. I wont even do anything. Like on Ruins and Blizzard, i have no sound. Crossroads comes up and sound is fine. Same with Requim and NightStalker. Bitter Jungle will have no sound if it takes a long time to load at the screen after we all green up.
On Escort, I have sound for Foxhunt and mixer. But not for Guidence. It always works that way.

this was odd my shots wasnt fireing but my bullet number was going down and i couldnt fire any shots eathier there was a terr who could m16 though also my he's whouldnt blow this happend after i got disconnected

It is probably just lag. Sometimes when I'm playing the music will keep repeating over and over like a broken record. xP
