LOL my buddy does not have a mic for his XBOX so I wasn't aware of any racial comments or rude remarks but for the past week that I have been playing Halo 2, I have not yet seen gltiches or much lag at all. Now I am new to Halo but there is some room for discusion there...

Anyways, enough about Halo. I will buy SOCOM 3 no matter what I hear. I just wanted to see if everyone had the same impression of SOCOM 2 that I did. I worte about my personal experience of SOCOM 2 just for a little convo to add to the concerns of SOCOM 3 and problems they might have fixed.

They may do it so if any friends get online they can send them a message and they'll actually be able to see it when they get back.

I apologize for going off topic, but whoever said "ppl make brb rooms so they get messages from their friends" made me realize a major point about socom 3 not noticed in socom 2. THEY NEED TO MAKE PLAYERS ABLE TO SEE MESSAGES FROM THE FRIGGIN MAIN MENU! i hate it so bad when my friends and me all phone eachother up, "yea lets play" "lets go own some noobs" and for the first 10 minutes before we actually play together, we go through a wild chase to locate a good game to join. You go on to your clan/friends list. your buddies arent in games yet. u message them "follow me" u go find a game. u get a message from them that says theyve found a game. u go check the list, they're now in the game u just left. You decide to find them instead of waiting to be found. so u goto te game they're in and as soon as you get in you get a message saying "where are you? ill just go make a game", and they are no longer there. if anyone can relate to the mad scramble of getting a game together with your friends, it sure is hectic. if messages could be recieved on the main menue not just sent, all would be made easier. again, i realize i have gone off topic. sorry.

Loadin' time might be a factor is SOCOM 3. The stages are 6 times bigger than those in SOCOM 2, their are more guns n' a majority of things to do. Also, SOCOM 2 came out like like 2, almost 3 years ago. Halo 2 servers are much more advanced now since then, due to the fact of improved technology. So we don't know what Zipper has in store for us. I personally think that Zipper will deliver when SOCOM 3 comes out but the only thing we can do is wait.

The fact that you guys are all complaining about his initial complaints is really pathetic. I realize you're addicted to this game, but there are certain things you must admit are faulty.

If someone wants to make a meaningful post about problems they see in Socom II that could just as easily plague the third in the series, let him/her! After all, most of the posts here are speculations and "wishes" about what they want to see in the game. And just because he isn't as addicted as the rest of the crowd does not mean he's wrong.

offline there wil be almost no loading imte. it wil be close to that of sanandreas. but online is more complex. if you remember, socom3 uses streaming technology. in other words, once the player goes to a specific part of the map, it loads it while your going twords it. sorta like how some online videos work, or most dvds. even though its still playing, its also loading.

but the roblem is going to be online. since there HAS to be more than 1 player for you to actually play, the question pops up how wll it load. if there was 16 people in a room, then in order to use streaming the player would have to be loading every part of the map that every player goes to, and anybody off of the loaded part of the map is non exisant to your character/ps2/s3game. this would be impossible to snipe. also it would be online. if you think about it more, you will see. i cant explain it very well here.

in no was was i agreeing or dissagreeing to your statment. the reason i quoted it was to better explain how this is going down.

So...you're complaining about the people complaining about the complaints. I'll change the pace here and agree. With everybody. You're all correct. Somehow.
