is online going to have these new features
Now i know that in a lot of games including SOCOM/SOCOM II that there is your one player with all of these awesome features (driving vehicles, swimming, etc.) but then you go online thinking awesome! These are going tot enhance online so much! where are the tanks, where are the humvees, i, i cant swim is there a different way to swim online? so my question is, will there really be swimming and driving vehicles, and all these new guns and character customization online, or only offline and if offline, which ones WILL go online?

There will definatly be swimming, probably character customization, and obviously the new gun and interchangable parts. The only thing I'm doubting is the vehicles.

Your hopeless until Zipper and Sony release that information. But thats what is probably going to happen. Plus, in SOCOM II, the OCIW would be pretty gay online, so I can see why they got rid of it.

Im new to the forum but ive been playing socom for quite a while and i think it would be pretty stupid to have vehicles online cause people would be fighting for the vehicles instead of playing and thats dumb people would also just drive over everyone. and the only way to blow the vehicles would to be able to shot an RPG at them and then you got people complaining about lag and the RPG's...so if socom 3 allows vehicles online im not goin to bother playing it

I hope and pray that there will not be any vehicles online. I am not buying the game to play Halo, I am buying the game to play SOCOM. This game has been about basic combat between two teams. Who wants to run from a HumVee anyway?

Then that would give terrorists or seals a actual reason to use heats and rpg's, to take out the rushers with the vehicles. And if they do put them in they would only put then in a type of special map where they specialized in making it driveable level, trust me, they aint gonna let u drive anything in crossroads or desert glory, it just wouldnt happen.

i dont like the newer weaopns with the gl's, but i would sacrifice dealing with those as ong as they dont put vehicles online. To me, that would just ruin the game.

What is stealthy about running someone over with a Humvee?
Nothing.
It would be stupid to have vehicles online, like mOB said. It turns into HALO. We want team based stealth, not team based carnage! If I wanted to play deathmatch then I would play something else.
