HOW DO YOU TYPE IN GAME MESSAGES TO OTHER PEOPLE WHILE YOU ARE PLAYING?

DONT TYPE IN ALL CAPS PLEASE! IT HURTS THE PUPILS! Also, you can edit your posts instead of creating double topics.

Player must not be on other team
If your in lobby and player is not logged on then you will see nothing.
If player is on other team then you will get " player is unavailable.
If player's name has a space in it you must put the name in quotes.
The dead can not message the living and vice-versa.

Ok, now I know how to send them and all, but how do I get the funky letters. Like the i's with the lines over them and stuff. My friends has the only funky "B" in his name, and I don't know how to message him.

I have a Datel Powerboard, if you needed to know that.

I don't think that you can send messages to people with alternate letters, unless the letters are on your keyboard. You might be able to make them useing ALT+ some numbers. ½ (I made that by pressing ALT+7,9,5,3,1). You might be able to do it using CTRL+"+ the letter. It works with some programs just like the above method. It might not work with SOCOM. The CTRL+ command doesn't work on these forums. If it work on SOCOM, here is how you can make accented letters.

CTRL+'
CTRL+^
CTRL+`

Those work with only some letters. e and a work, and o works with the middle one. I don't know how to put a circumflex on a C. That works with Microsoft word and MSN, but I'm not sure what else.

Well at least you helped with some of it, thanks. But what about the funky B, it's not with any dashes over it, it's just a bit weird looking. If anyone knows, please help me out.

Or someone with the name of "SocOmizdAGreatest" and you gotta remember all of it haha. Is there a commant that just messages the whole team?
