Which war did the US sit out?

Get your head out of the sand. How can you say that European countries are afraid to help other people? Maybe they don't help you, but they help people who need it. Afraid to help? What does that comment mean?

You Canadian's hate are politics more then the people but I think you all live in one of the nicest country in the world but like it or not you are a allie and what happened in 1812 I don't know why don't you tell all of us about the evil americans.

Its like there afraid they might get boomed by some terrorist and one already backed out because they got boomed and that sounds like a bunch of cowards to me.And the war we tried to sit out was WWII then we got boomed but we were still giving aide to london.

The war of 1812, what, when Kanada pwned the U.S. with nothin but 1337 skills and some help from the trusty ol' Indians? Hehehehe

I dont think he meant ignorant about policing the world (he might've though) its your attitude towards EVERYTHING that isn't American. I rememebr one day in the chat a long time ago, a guy came in and just started being all pro-American on us, saying it's the best coutnry, Canada sucks etc etc. A lot of Americans think that America is the best country ever (and they are allowed to do so) but then they just critisize everything about every other country and don't think about wtf is wrong with their own.

Canada (Ontario in particular) has some of the best Health care in the world...a nifty little thing called OHIP, everything pretty much regarding Health Care is payed for you, if you needed a triple bypass heart surgery, it'd be payed for, sure the citizens pay it back in taxes, but its better than one poor family dishing out 100k.

Anyway, it's mainly your attitude towards everything that isn't American...Canada sucks, France sucks....give me some reasons WHY Canada sucks so much eh?

Sorry for the ramble...I probably went off-topic...oh well.

I must admit, I didn't actually look up, how many prople are trying to emigrate, in any country. My bad! But what I was trying to get across, is most of America is a great place. Unfortunately, we do have our share of stupid people. As all countrys do. We do get many, many people from other countrys, trying to get in here. And over the hundreds of years, many of those people have brought their ignorance/racism with them, and passed them down. Not making any excuses. Canada and Mexico were started that way, also. And I'm proud to have them as friends, on this continent. I don't hate anyone, for their color/religion or country they live in, or came from. I give everybody a chance. I do hate ignorance/racism, in all people/countrys. We do try and help many places/people. And I'm glad everybody here, lives in a country, that they can speak their minds. We helped a lot of those countrys, from not being able to do that.
Anyway, back to the topic. Socom is a great game! And we don't need any racism/ignorance in it. If you get in a room, that has it, leave or get that person/persons voted out.

A very serious discussion for once. Good to read the US side of the matter. Whereas i have my own view -as we all do, i hope- i most of the times love the US for a lot of things. Their "togetherness in the face of huge troubled times" is one to mention. But then again, some of the things are not correct in my personal view. The "i-sue-you" for i cannot "dry-my-cat-in-microwave" mentality that most europeans have of Americans is not the correct one. But with Jerry Springer it is exported. Of course i do not believe in this. Most US friends of mine are fine. The danger lies in extreme views and politics. GB mentioned that if i was not for him, i was against him and the US. Sorry,what? I refuse to let someone else tell me what is wrong or right. But where ever you come from, I might not agree with what you are saying, but i will defend your right to say it with my life.
Further more, Discrimination is around for decades in the US, isnt it time to get over with it and get on?

well i wasnt even going to post on this again even after reading some of the idiotic posts a few ppl have done but.....

first off unless your an indian your technically not even american, sure you were born here but if you trace your ancestors you will see that you too came from across the ocean.i myself have ancestors from whales(sp?) and appreciate everyone for what they have to offer.only stance i have that i am adimant about is ppl entering this country and staying illegally now (no greencard) becuase you cant go anywhere anymore (meaning other countries) without having a passport and a requested length of stay.thats the way the world is.stop the hating, you only hate because of what you hear and you form your opinions on this.thats why ignorance and racism go hand and hand.also as an american if you cant step back and take a look at this country and not see whats wrong with it how can it be fixed (and thats any country for that matter) nobody nor any country is perfect.i am in no way bashing my own country but thier are alot of faults with it at the same time.just be who you are, be proud but being proud and being an illetist are 2 totally different things.the lines have been blurred for centuries and the young ppl oin this board (since the majority fall between 10 and 16 are the ones that can change this.....but at the same time you can also just make it worse if you carry forward with the hatred that many generations before you had.

Racisim is ignorance and insecurity.As a sort of christian i beliebe we are all equal. i dislike racists but i dont hate them becos if u hate somone u jus make things worse. I have currently been at an international skool 4 5 years and i have jewish friends my best m8s are blak one asian i left cos i suk at german and spanish but i am good at moost other stuff now when i got to my local state skool raicisim was everywhere and i was and still am appauled. Now i dnt wanna seem like a nerd in fact im always in trouble detention and that crak but racisim is just ignorance whatever people say and is not acceptable on socom and should be better monatered and craked down on.
One thing i do say is that whites do get a worse time of it though just an example their is a radio station in my area called the asiasn network and another called black beats. If their was one called white waves it would be classed as racist just think bout that and the absurdidty of the terms ****** n wigger and honkey and chinky or whatever is just stupid people are what they are and we should just accept them 4 it.
Think about some of the great people opf our time and the mesages they left us Nelson mandela, m luther king,how can you gnore their legacies [most of this is amied at the racists on page 3,4,5]
And even rappers ie tupac and changes eminem toy soldiers, even the black eyed pees.
We are all human beings at the end of the day and should learn to live alongside and love oneanother.
