Sending private messages while in game

I have a keybaord and often find myself in the middle of a game when my other clan members get on and then they message me. I wanna be able to say soemthign to them liek "Come here" or "Find a war" but I can't unless I leave the game. I believe I did hear of there beign a way to send a private message to people while in a game. Does anyone know how to do this?
I'd really apprecaite any help on this

Never heard of it before, although i dont find it such a big deal, just leave the game or hopefully ur buddy joins ur game. then u two can talk and do whatever.

On your keyboard, while in a game, press /w Players_Name Message you want to type.

If the player has alt letters in his name, you're out of luck there.

If he has a space in his name, I believe you put quotes around his/her name.

yea it is like /w -=socom=- hey space after the w and name or if there is a space /w "-=so com=-" hey

If a name has a space, like AL GIORDINO, you put an underscore (_).

So it would look like this:

/w AL_GIORDINO YO MAN WHATS UP?

with the alternate letters, if you know the alternate codes by heart or have something by you with the used alternate letters in the game to refer to then you can use that.

i for one know most of the alternate letter codes used in SOCOM just off the top of my head because i had to use them a bunch withen the years.
