well after not givin a shyt anymore like the majority i have a great way to put the fun back in socom and take the bullshyt and losers out. just every month or every 3 weeks reset ranks. id laugh my *** off, all these die hard, i gotta be ranked really hi or imma die, motha****as.especially the admirals.then the game would just be fun and who cares about anything.

what keeps me comin back is the cool peeps ive made friends with. how can you say the rank is part of it, its so ****ed itll never reflect your "actual" rank or what you should be so screw it.if you wanna play for rank play single player, thats about only way any honest person will achieve admiral...wich is sad.....

I LOVE that idea, I remember....I used to play D2 LOD and they reset the ladder every month I think, maybe on socom, if they reset it maybe...every 2 months, that way you could actually get somewhere, that'd be fun.

It would keep rank^'rs on their toes, and I would just play for fun, but sometimes actually try and get my wings.

Hey hey hey..its his opinion. I like getting my rank up aswell...it may not be the only reason i play, but i still like to keep it up. It isnt very good but if you dont rank up it gives some what of a representation of how you play, you cant get wings by playing crap (without ranking up).

oh no i agree , everyone deserves an opinion, i was just askin him with the rankin system so screwy and ppl WILL find other ways to manipulate it, how does rank matter now? just a simple question. maybe just me but since they wiped stats its such ********, ask yourself this. if they wiped them now, or like some have had them wiped here and there i guess for hell of it, why care? im tired of gettin stats up to only have to start over. startin over is no fun. i didnt have an *** of kills, but damnit i had 324 shy of 10,000 and that was my goal, 10k kills and atleast 400 less deaths. well zipper screwed that and it pissed me off.so now i play for pure fun. i still have nice stats but see i have a new goal now. to still have nice kills over deaths somewhat but to have atleast 600 suicides before 1st of year if possible. :P

The rank system is affect by the whole community, not only by a person. For example, if a whole lotta people win alot of games during a short period of time, you have to do as good or better as them to get a higher rank. IT is almost impossible since everyone or atleast a good number people is winning alot of games during every second on socom online. It is like something thats growing and is growing fast every second. So u may be very good, but the next time u log on u gets bumped down because other people surpassed ur rank. Thats just my theory of the whackassness of socom2 online.

this is why its screwed up, im sorry but if you have more wins than me but been killed more and way less deaths theres no way in hell you should be ranked higher, that just shows you piggy back on a winning team. it should include the following to figure rank

kills
deaths
wins
losses
total hours playing

if they used all that would make better. and total time playin would help weed out the rank uppers that were abusin system by makin a new name and bein captain in 30 to 45 minutes of rank up.

this is why i just dont give a **** and play only for fun.i still have kills over deaths but my goal is to commit suicide after the rounds won as much as possible. if i can average 150 suicides a month ill have 600 suicides by jan. yeah ill have deaths close to kills but if you look at my suicides youll see where them deaths come from, like my motto says....if you cant kill my *** ill do it for ya

I noticed after I stopped constantly doing GB's or being in a serious clan that I actually try workin on my rank once in awhile. Gives ya something to do but some people dont pay attention to it since there used to bein a captain from rankup or some other way. Even though my rank never stays where I get it to since I play once a week its still better that u can see where your placed online among everyone. Just another reason why Id never switch to starwars: battlefront
