Yea..but the only thing with that is you would need a tv that is s-video compatible...in your case you have an HD-TV which would be able to support (or it should 480p) and you probably enabled it in the options...so you are going to get a wayyy better picture than people without an HD-TV

I noticed a huge difference when I bought the monster cables. They were $50 but they were worth it. My tv has the COMPONENT INPUTS, and I switched my PS2s option for the component cable option and its amazing all the calrity in the characters uniforms and gear! I highly recommend them. Oh yeah your TV doesnt need to be a HDTV for you to notice the difference! My Samsung TV is not HDTV.

Well first off dude there won't be a button you push on your tv.

First you must have the componet (Red, Green, Blue Video and the red and white audio) cables for your PS2.

Then you have to hook those upto your TV.

Next step is to turn your playstaton on to the "bios set-up what ever" screen before entering the browser. Change your video selections there to Yb/somthing can't remember now to tired. Once that is complete start Socom 2.

In the video options there will be progressive scan choice pick that and you should be good to go. I'm going to bed now I'll give you the full scoop in the morning from work or some thing.

It's not that hard check your user manuals for your TV, PS2, and Socom 2
You will be up and running in no time at all 15min. tops if you already have the cables.

Good luck and fun times

I've been using SVIDEO on my TV (the best it has, too old for component) but now i've just ordered this VGA box:

http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-...ter-70-7m.html

Supports component video->VGA conversion, should be nice. I should have it in a week or so. I will definitely welcome being able to see those damn mines a little easier.
