Which Ethernet Cable Do I Need For Online Gaming ???

Hi, I'm about to buy ethernet cable online & there are 3 types......

Cat5, Cat5e and Cat6.....

Which one of these will i need? All help is appreciated :)

ive played with the cat 5 cable before it works..i am now using the cat 5e cable cause i accidently bought it thinking it was cat 5...i havent played with the cat 6 cable yet but some people have told me it is the best one...hope this helps

Either Cat5 or Cat5e will work fine. Ive tried them both.

Cat6 shouldnt....

Is there a specific place too buy them...I went to Radio Shack and they had a 25 Ft. One but I didnt know if I should buy it or not...But now I know what kind to look for.

any of the 3 should work.

I personally use cat6 cable because it's supposed to be designed for current and next generation technology. Supporting larger bandwidth.

But, I've used cat5 and cat5e before, they all work just as well.
