Smoke grenades do more harm than good

i was a terr on enowapi. my entire team was wiped out so i ran to the basement as a last ditch effort to win. well i was by the ramp. you know the spot where you can see the ramp and inside but the seals outside cant see you. well there were 5 seals left and they were all at the ramp. they threw a few smoke grenades down the ramp so i retreated a little furter back.so i threw a nade into the smoke and i got one trying to come in. threw a 2nd and got another trying to come in. threw a 3rd and well got two trying to come in. and a smoke grenade came down the ladder so i quickly went over there. he must have thrown it wrong cuz i could see the ladder perfectly. when he jumped down he hurt himself and was on the floor so i unloaded on him before he could get up. has this ever happened to anyone?



Please sound out grenade to yourself... it's not pronounced ger-nade. It's pronounced gre-nade! (If you really have trouble, just abbreviate it 'nade.)

Its actually the other way around. Smokes do **** loads of good, and I don't know why people don't use them more! I was at Requiem and a seal and 4 of them were camping inside the base, we threw smokes in there like crazy, then a few frags and got two of 'em, then when we charged in they didn't know what was happenening cuz we came in from all sides, smokes are great

Smokes are very usefull and very underrated. Sure, if you throw them wrong they won't work as well. If you don't throw a frag the right way, it can hurt you just as much. Smokes are a godsend on Escort maps which I play a lot and Demolition as well. The problem is, most people don't want to sacrifice a slot for them. The less you need 2x ammo, the better off you will be.

i usually pack 6 smokes on escorts...just to smoke up that extraction zone alot. yah feel me. ill usually sacrifice a m67 and 2x ammo slot. tso ill alltogether have 6 smokes and m67

depending on the map, i would normaly pick up smokes and/or flashbangs. as a SEAL, when sniping or using a gun that already gives you a good ammo supply (M16, HK5K) i will always pick up claymores because they are very useful from time to time... you never know when or what you will need them for.

flashbangs ARE indeed nice to have but they dont exactly work all the time the way you want them to work. have you ever been flashbanged and sometimes it only causes minimal blindness to where you can still see and determine what the hell is going on? thats what im talking about. if an enemy looks just BARELY away at the last second it will only blind them so much and they can still do stuff while in this state easily because you can still see your screen quite well.

they are best used when flashing your teammates at the beginings or the rounds

ill pack flashbangs on maps like fish hook sandstorm and enowapi and sujo stuff like that
