Friends list - pointless?
Okay, first off, I am not saying I dislike the Friends list. I love it, its just kinda pointless b/c you can only add friends who are online. So what if you meet somebody one day, and you need to add them the next day. Can't be done, for they have to be on at the same time. Kinda dumb, does anyone agree? I don't understand why it can't be done like Xbox Live's friends list, where you can send a friend invite anytime, even if they are online or off.

Agree or disagree it should be different?

I love socom 2.

Yea I just hate the fact that they have to accept the invite most people send them when they tell the other person they are going to anyways.

if you didn't have to accept imagine all the people who would get angry at you because you killed em and then stalk you until you changed names, happens on starcraft all the time

Yea...on starcraft all the ub3r rush3rz0rz wh0 s3nt 0ut z3gl1ngs and pwndz JoO kekekekekekeke

I hate starcraft

Anyway, yea I don't really like the system because something like this happened to me...and I never know when hes on :( He was actually a friend of mine FROM starcraft, who quit sc and now plays s2...like me

Enough of my life story, I can't really imagine any system thats better...well i can but then there'd be people who send people invite for no reason...and you end up having like 40 invites and only say 2 people you know...I say just deal with it.

It sure would be nice, however, the absence of offline invitations does not render the friends list useless in my opinion. Hopefully, we can ask for this in Socom-3.

Ya, that'd be great, also with offline adding when teh person comes on a window pops up showing that they've been invited.

But i still have a lot of friends and love the friends list...

It could be like the Private Message box that shows up when you log on to this site (providing you have one in your mailbox).

ya it would be nice to be able to invite people when they werent online or have a mailbox deal but i think it is decent how it is. if you got a guy that keeps following you and sending you invites like i did just put him on your ignore list and then he cant message you or invite you and maybe not get in the same room but im not too sure about the last one there

I hate that, when I send an invite thye HAVE to be online.

It makes it kind of hard because you have to guess when they online :o
