I agree with you that the name calling and labeling is stupid and annoying. I wish people would just play the game and not talk smack or try to put others down. However, I know this will never happen because of all the immature people on the game.

I just wanted to give a small history lesson as to why the term nubie cannon was given to the M-60. Back in Socom One before you could switch the select fire button nubie’s (and some not so nubie's) were always switching their weapon to single fire or burst (or running out of ammo) in the middle of a fire fight. So this was no longer a factor people used the M-60 or M-63 which were always full auto.

Yes I know there are most likely other explanations but that is my story and I’m sticking to it.

I agree with whoever says stop the noobgun bs, i agree, but it doesnt change anything since we are only sending our message to people on this site and alot people on socom whos not from this site still keeps up the noob bs.

i get pissed when i get kicked out of a room for using a M79... i mean wtf mate? for example, while playing medley, night stalker and rats nest are back to back. i used a M79 in night stalker and no one cared worth a damn and come rats nest most of the people i was playing with left and this BS [US*] clan hogged the whole damn terrorist side. i used the M79 the whole game, went 21-3 and got kicked the last possible round or what could have been cause i was getting most of the kills and they were gettign mad. it is situations like that, that i wish i had a router so i could run my IP address tracker and track down these |3itches so i can completley mess up these fagggs computers with all sorts of viruses and what not. next best thing to just finding out where they live and beating the he11 out of them

I for one dislike noobs, except for the ones that snipe with the m60 on Foxhunt, because sniping with the m60 takes skill!!!!

no, just a tremendous amount of 'come on bullet, go towards the dot on my screen for a change'

you can put the crosshairs right on someone, lay proned and shoot one at a time... its still going to take luck for the bullet to go where you want it to go... its like a scaled down version of trying to snipe with the DE.50

sniping with the DE.50 is fun as hell though

it does have its own meaning but not when dumb *******s ages 10 to 16 start useing just for annoying purposes.

i am a noob since i just got BB andi am practising online so if you see me doing odd things like useing wierd guns at the wrong time its just experiments so don't go ****ing crazy on me cuz i died and our team lost.

I TOTALLY AGREE. This is one of few truths I hear on SOCOM II. I have practiced with all of the guns on here and each one is directed duty in different environments during different situations. I love my AKS-74, but there are times where it is unreliable and hard to use. It's characteristics haven't changed, the gameplay has due to the ever changing variety of players in the room. To you, point made and made well, man.
