Single Player Levels That Should Have Been...
What single player levels would have liked to have seen in SOCOM II (or would you like to see in SOCOMIII)?

I would have liked some terrorist hunting operations in Afghanistan, but I guess that wasn't politically correct at the time the game was made.

I think it also would have been cool to have a joint mission with another four-man team that you don't control. Something with French Foreign Legion paratroopers in West Africa (Ivory Coast) might have been cool in that regard.

I'd agree on something like online four player co op and you have no control over the peoplein your team.

The French thing wouldn't work. We know how stupid and unresponsive our own A.I. team can be. Could you imagine the French? Not only would the A.I. be dumb as usual, but they would probably abort most of the time thus making the mission impossible to complete!!!

As long as the mission were outdoors without too many places to get lost I think the AI would hold up for another team that you didn't control. It would probably be much simpler and more stable actually. They'd be more like enemies from a programming point of view.

I think I would have also liked to played some special operations missions inside a conventional war. Like rescuing a downed pilot or deep recon behind enemy lines.

I don't really know if this is a Navy SEALS kinda mission... but i would like to see one mission inside a huge school or something (hostage rescue) Call me old fashion but you could have them in the auditorium and that would be a real hot spot (Balcony with bad guys) I think that would go in a SWAT game though... I like indoor missions :D

Great Ideas!

I would also like to see some Iraq/Afghanistan Operations...however, call me dumb but what about some missions where you MUST stealth. Where you must actually swim stealthly avoiding patrols to the landing area. The joint mission appeals, but you know those Frenchies =p. Haha great call Boba.

I agree that to have a game about the Navy SEALs and not do any swimming is a little weak.

Also, note I said the Foreign Legion, not the regular French military. The Legion's 2nd REP is no joke and could make for a very cool couple of missions.

I think indoor missions are pretty cool to me too like a swat type mission would be cool even though it wouldnt work with the idea of the game. Unless you put the building in Iraq then maybe...
