Creating an account.
When i want to play online i've got a problem with creating a username.
For example: I use 'Mysterio' but that one already exists. So i decided to choose another one.
Now i choose O'Keefe and that one doesn't exist. When i push the 'connect' button it says: Account doesn't exist, want to register?
I press Yes, but than it says: registration failure, logging off. And i'm back in the username screen.
I tried many usernames but everytime i get the registration failure.

Can someone help me!!!

maybe set up a new connection, or get a new memory card or something, i bet it has to do with the stuff on your memory card already...or just restart your ps2 and try again ive never heard of this problem, so i can only guess

I tried with restart etc. , but didn't work.. and i have about 4 mb left on my memory card. So that's not the problem....

you dont have an online account or everyday you have to try a new name to log on? if want to use the name 'mysterio' make the o or the i a little different and see if that works.

i don't have an account. This is my first time i want to play online. I want to use O'Keefe now, cause that one doesn't excist.
But the problem is the registration failure.. not the username.

I think you should try mysterio but heres a tip for getting the name you want type mysterio(space) no one has that name with a space after it.

anyone got suggestions... still can't create an account.

I'm trying to explain it easier:

I'm connection to Socom2, i'm making an username.

Then i press 'connect'
It says: login failure, after that i got the message:
username DOESNT exist, wanna register? I press YES.
After that it says: Registration failure, and the screen jumps back to the 'choose a user' screen.

I'm using a router, so maybe i did something??
or is there a button to switch on my ps2 or something?!

(myself, i don't think it's the connection cause i can connect to the socom2 network, but i can't create user..->registration failure)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE someone help me!!!
