Is this supposed to be the maps you think suck? or the maps your no good at?
I absolutely SUCK at Abandoned unless I'm playing it in a completely dark room, then I'm mediocre. :P
My least favorite map to play is a tie between Crossroads/Chain Reaction.
I can't stand Abandoned now but I also can't stand the new Rats Nest. I still play them with friends becuase they like them, but I would never think of playing them on my own.
shadow falls is tight if everyone didnt camp. just move your butt and maybe it wont take an hour to complete the game.
rats nest is ruined by the way they but (?) paths off. i feel like a rat, having to go to one area, the middle. the darkness is pretty stupid too.
but the worst map is Death Trap. really hard for seals to win there, especially back in socom 1, but then again, enowapi is really hard to win at as seals too, but i like that map better.
in real life they would just drop a big bomb on it, probably.
i cant beleive my ears...some of you guys hate CROSSROADS, are you kiddin me...i also read negativity on FROSTFIRE, DEATH TRAP, CHAIN REACTION... those are some great maps.... but i have to agree that RATS NEST and ABANDONED are pretty F'n stupid maps now that they are dark, and the terrorists rock the $hit out of RATS NEST with those M79's and MGL's.
The absolute worst board of Socom 2 is Shadow Falls, but abandoned comes in a very close 2nd along with Rat's nest. I am also not a very big fan of Vigilance(just personal preference). For some reason I always do horrible there!
to be for real i like all the maps except fpr SHADOW FALLS. and playing it without camping is hott. i like all the ex-original maps 2. because i do good in almost all the maps in socom II
Shadow Falls is the worst ONLY BECAUSE people don't know it. That is why there are too many draws. Even if most people playing it at once know the map fairly well, it is still pretty damn hard to find a camper or two. I feel that it SHOULD BE one of the better maps as long as you know the definition of teamwork. It can be ALOT OF FUN!!!
So with that said, my vote goes to Rat's Nest. Complete crap
I hope for Socom 3 you can have the option of day/night and possibly even weather conditions
