I figured we'd take a little trip down memory lane....

Try to recall the exact reasoning/scenario that caused you to visit this site for your very first time and if you'd like....a reason why you stayed.

For me, it was that damn L3 button.....I couldn't figure out how to stop myself from constantly changing my fire rate.....Once I got the help, I then began to get frustrated with this scoreboard popping up on my screen......Needless to say, I learned how to play without changing my fire rate.....

And I stayed for several different reasons.....The personalities I picked up on from reading other posts (mostly DaKilla's).....The other posts themselves (some humorous, some helpful).....And of course, the free beer

If you guys can beleive this, I actually joined these forums only because Bloody, my clan's co-leader at the time, forced us to come sign up for our personal forums. I didn't like it that much as I set up my own forums for us and they never got used. But, eventually I started to come here more and more and really started liking it.

That's when I asked Veins to let me Moderate a forum or two. He said 'yes' mainly because there was no one else to do it. :D
And with that position, I came here daily and really had loads of fun, which I still do...

I was actually doing a search on Google for images of Socom 2 so that I could make a desktop wallpaper for my computer. I stumbled up www.socomclans.com and quickly found the forum.
I had never been on a forum before and I was wary about trying one out. I kept reading and laughing, until I found myself addicted to coming here. I had to see what was going to be said next.
Boba's sarcasm, Dyna's dry wit, yabber's big brain, Stimpy's complaining about noobs on the forum, Yooper's constantly changing avatar....
And of course DK's fatherly advice.
This place is my home on the internet. And you can't beat the neighbors I have.
Thanks for making everyday entertaining for me guys.

Hehe, My reason? Well my ones pretty simple and isn't as touching as you guy's :P

I got Socom 2, and wanted a forum to talk to about Socom stuff and also to meet some new people to play Socom with. So i searched up "Socom 2" on Google, and you guys came right up! I saw the site and all, then i signed up for the forum. After a couple weeks of posting and listening to post and i felt kinda accepted into the forum( Unlike other forums, i post, and no one would reply :/)

And yup...Here i am now...

I was playing Desert Glory, and someone was talking about new screens of S2. He gave this web site ( and 3 of the other white meat). After registering at each site, I found this one to have the best boards. Its also easy to navigate. I do still visit the other sites, but this is my favorite.

I actually have been at these forums since Nov. 2003. I never registered, until I saw a topic I had to have a word in. I kept coming back since I typed in "Socom 2 Forums" in Google searches, and that day, I finally registered. I kept away from registering, because I had never been on a forum before. I wasn't sure how they ran, and didn't want to post a remark that I would get flamed for. I really wished I would have registered sooner. This forum also inspired me to start making sigs, which I am progressing in. I thank BLOODY for that one.

i was in CADD class in school (CADD= computerized drafting and design) and i was bored.... i went to google.com and type in socom 2 and i clicked the 3rd site down or sumthin..... my first post was from a thread called "3rd person nightvision" and this guy told us how to do it.... i dont remember what i wrote in it, but i remember that i did lol.... arent you all glad that i found this??? lol

Well, I was having trouble with the single player so in google like everyone else I typed in socom 2 and got this. I thought it would be the best cause its socom-2.com so I figured it was the OFFICIAL website. came here and didnt register for about a month. But I think its only second to the day I bought socom... then again I forgot I couldnt play without broadband
