Why are people such hypocrites? (long thread)

How come the majority of the people that whine about the m203 are the m60 users?

1. With an m203 you need to know how to adjust your fire on the fly, with an m60 you do not.

2. With an m203 if you get caught with the grenades out all someone needs to do is rush at you for an easy kill, this is not always the case going against and m60 scrub. You WILL NOT always get the easy kill.

3. With an M203 the grenades are sometimes difficult to get to blow up, once again M60 is a stress free gun as all you need to do is hold down the trigger.

4. With an M203 you do not have the advantage of lagging out the game in a one on one with constant bullets flying, you have this with an m60.

5. And last but DEFINATELY not least, I CAN GIVE "ANY" noob an M60 and he will get kills, but I can not do this with an M203.

And another thing, why do people find an M203 and a terrorist rocket launcher the same? They aren't you get one shot and you cant run with a rocket launcher.

My point is that yes the m203 is deadly in the right hands, but so is any gun. It is a FACT that the M60 is more of a broken gun than the m203 yet people will never believe this too be true. The other point is that the m60 noobs are always the first to cry back in the lobby about m203s, yet they dont see the hypocrisy of thier comments. They are both in the game, and I must respect that, but I do not respect people that only think what kills them is "cheap".

Off topic but I have played in tournaments all over this county for Street Fighter and Street Fighters related games since I was 13. I still frequent the dying breed that is known as the arcade nowadays at the age of 23, and I promise you SF has always had some broken characters that are overpowered, but If we ever heard anyone call a character "cheap" or "cheesy" we would laugh and make sure they never played at that machine again.

Cheap is a scrubs word, if you use it then yes you are that scrubby little kid getting beaten up at the arcade machine and calling mom early to come pick you up with no more quarters in your pockets while the people who "USE WHAT IS IN THE GAME TO WIN" are staying and playing.

Playing for fun is great dont get me wrong, and I am not a rank w.hore, but please remember just because you play for fun, doesnt mean you should expect everyone else too. ITS NOT YOUR RULES, people play by thier own set of RULES dont cry when someone kills you with an m203 everytime, just like I wont when I get sprayed and lagged out all over the place by some guy with an M60.

Dont abuse the system but if you do dont whine about someone else doing it.

Please take this thread with a grain of salt as I dont mean to offend anyone, but hope to open peoples eyes to the words you probably use all the time in your video games like "cheap" or "cheesy". I just find this to be such a hardcore Socom site there are a bunch of whiners.

Yes, I agree that the rocket launcher and M203 are not the same but you can still kill someone half-way across the map with a rocket launcher just as you can an M203 and that's why some people compare them! people don't like being killed by 203's or RL's, i personally don't care what you use! but if someone says no 203's then there also should be no RL's either! just for the fact that you can hit someone across the map with it!

Sorry to break it to you but an M203 is more of a "newbie gun" than the newer M60. Though its not as easy to use as an M79 since it atleast arcs, you just gotta hit the general area the person is in.. even if your off a little bit it'll knock them over so you can take another shot. Some of your arguments are pretty weak.. an M203 on the run might take some adjustment to shoot but an M60 on the run has no accuracy anymore. I can pretty much guarantee a noob would get more kills with an m203 than a m60, people use it for camping on maps like shadow falls and once somebody runs by them.. *BOOM* dead. People might be able to rush an M203 but people act like it's the easiest thing to do, if there smart they'll change to their rifle real quick. Also why do you think maps like shadow falls, requiem etc.. lag? Because of GRENADES, not because of M60's so people often do get disc'd from the game.

Anyways Im not even against people using the M203, its in the game so use it.. but its still cheaper than the M60. I just think both sides should be able to use them at the same time. The M79 is crazy, it shoots straight and accurate. Thats the gun people should be complainin about if anything.. not the IW or M203 which are nothin compared to that beast.

P.S. The old M60 was alot better, if we were comparin that to an m203 I'd have to say the old M60 was cheaper just cuz it has the accuracy n clip size.

The m60 does not have to be accurate when it lags out a one on one fire fight, plus how many times can you use the word cheap in your post bro? Did i not adress the use of that word thouroughly enough in my topic? I have never seen that word used so many times than this and the Madden website lol. You can have opinions but its a FACT that the m60 is easier to get lagkills in this game and then the m203 with a noobie behind it.

The whole point behind the M203 is to kill people across the board. It is meant to provide cover for other players that are rushing. I will agree that a whole team using them is a bit annoying. It does take some skill to use them so, that you do not kill your own team member.

I dispise M60's because of the clear fact you cn not run around with a weapon that big, with that much ammo. It is not realistic and I belive that this game in the most part tries to reseamble actual conditions.

Anyways, you can run around with an M60.. they had some show on MTV about soldiers in the middle east recently and they were carryin around M60's(they are huge). You can shoot with them on the run, but its not going to be accurate at all since their made to be mounted.

Well, in my opinion.

It takes NO skill at all with an m203, you aim at the wall or ground in front of someone. BoOM... DEad, get the picture.

I could give my 6 year old brother the controller, and he would get atleast 5 kills with it through a whole game. U just press a damn button, and it explodes, thats not skill, that is CHEAP.

Now for the m60, i do believe it is in the middle of Cheap and Fair.

It has horrible accuracy, but the clip makes up for that.
But if someone went head on, m60 vs m203, the m203 would win inconsiquently.

It wouldnt be a match.

But you know thats just my.02$

i agree with the creater of the post. people need to learn to adapt and adjust. when socom 2 came out everyone was whining about the auto shotgun. everyone used it and everyone learned to adjust and counter it. point is you payed 50 bucks for the game and you pay 30 bucks for the connection. use what you want when you want to use it.
