Try pulling up a search. Youll find out alot about the PS2 headset, as well as the logitech. Here are a few related links with bits of info:

This is what I said about it in a different post:
"I went with the PS2 headset just because I wanted the extra features and the PS2 name (although theyre both made by logitech). I have yet to use the volume control or the mute function once. They are both just in the way when dealing with Socom. Possibly good for other games such as EA sports games where the mic is always on, but really just an annoyance if your just going to be dealing with Socom. The mic stem on the PS2 headset is much less pliable than the logitec. This makes the actual mic hard to position where you want it. There is much more plastic (for looks) therefor giving the headset a much stiffer and heavier feel. In combination with the volume control thing, it makes the headset a little uncomfortable. You know how the original socom doesnt even feel like its on your head? You know when this thing is. - Its a little heavy and bulky. It does sound a little better than the original so it does serve its purpose, just not the pricetag."
