Ranking System
In The Game (points earned in game only)
I) Earning Points:
1) Killing Rank:
Ensign & Lt. = 1 point
Lt. Commander & Captain = 2 points
Admirals = 3 points

2) Killing with a:
PMN & Claymore etc. = 1 point
Any type of grenade & C4 & Satchel & Remote Detonators etc. = 2 points
Shooting with a gun or RPG and Rocket Launcher = 3 points
Sniping and Pistol = 4 points

3) Hostages and VIP:*
A) VIP’s
a) Rescue
1 VIP = 4 points
2 VIP’s = 8 points
3 VIP’s = 15 points
b) Killing
1 VIP = 2 points
2 VIP’s = 4 points
3 VIP’s = 8 points
B) Hostages
a) Rescue
1 Hostage = 2 points
2 Hostages = 4 points
3 Hostages = 8 points
b) Killing (see II Losing Points 1, B)
4) Other ways
A) Explosives
Blow-up something with C4 & Remote Detonators = 1 point
Blow-up Satchel = 4 points
Defuse Satchel = 5 points
B) Game Stats
Most kills on your team at end of game= 4 points
Getting MVP = 5 points
Team wins and you killed someone that round = 1 point
Team wins and you live = 2 points

II) Losing Points:*
1) Killing ? hostage(s):
A) Per. round
1 hostage = -3 points
2 hostages = -5 points
3 hostages = -10 points

B) Total in game
1 hostage = -1 point
2 hostages = -2 points
3 hostages = -4 points
4 hostages = -7 points
5 hostages = -10 points
6 hostages = -15 points
7 hostages or more = get kicked

2) Other ways:
1 Team killing & Suicide = -2 points
2 Team killings & Suicides and more = -4 points

Well it took me a while sence i played socom 2 at the same time :) lol and i went over stuff to make sure there was no stupid mistakes! And y not is it too detailed???? i dont see y not. and when i get some time i will make a diff type of rank for clan gamesin socom 2, if socom 2 will ever have its own way of challanging a clan w/o going on ur computer and logging on to the many socom 2 clan whatever websites. If anything that option could come with the HDD or a patch to big 4 just ur memory card. I mean i know its not perfect and it never will b. but i think its pretty close. i might edit how many poitnts u get depending on ur rank. but prob not. THANKS FOR UR INPUT BUT ITS NOT ENOUGH I WANT MORE. LOL :)

That is really creative. I had the same Idea but didn't take the time for writing it down. I am impressed. When I get on in a little bit, I will use it and compare it to the ranking system for the game.

YES PLEASE DO!!!! AND IF U CAN RECORD ON UR VCR BY PLUGGING THE OUTPUT INTO THE INPUT OF THE VCR AND THE OUTPUT OF THE VCR INTO THE TV AND SEE EXACTLY WHO U KILLED SO U KNOW HOW MANY POINTS U GET AND HOW JUST INCASE U 4GOT. i was going ot but i didnt have enough time and now that school is back :( its even harder!!!

you do realize that you would have to convince SONY to change it to yours right? thats what i meant by your not going to be able to have it in the game.
