Unlike most assult rifles this gun is not fully automatic, but shoots in "triple burst" ( am not shure if thats the propper name)
When i tried this gun i was horrible with it and couldnt kill any1. I understand thats it used by tappping the trigger, but it still seems like it sucks, but it doesnt suck because there are some people that are amazing with this gun, i have no idea how they use it so well, but if you learn how to use it, you can get it to shoot faster then any gun in the game

Anyway, if you're just trying to learn how to use it, shoot it like its a handgun. Then as you work with it, it'll grow on you and you'll understand its nuances.

o the stg 77 once u learn how to use that gun then boom in 3-5 seconds their dead if u know how to use it

I once used the STG 77 myself...and then my friend used the M16A2 and I took over for him, and fell in love with it lol. It can be the most deadly weapon in the game....SOOOO accurate it's not even funny. I've shot across the map 3 shots killed 2 guys :)

But yeah, great gun. At least some people use it :)

I use it interchangably with the M14, I <3 that gun too :)

ya you know how to use it very well, i've seem people shooting it so well i would think it was an m60 untill i got fragged

Its "3 round burst", doesn't really matter though, there isn't really a proper way of saying it, thats just the prefered term.

Well, for the M16A2 I like to leave it on single fire and click it real fast, seems to work really well, and the accuracy is great on the thing, its all I use now. If you don't like it how its scopless (stupid thing, they have an area where you can add it on the M16 clearly, the thing doesn't have a sight in SOCOM2, wtf) just use your binoculars to look at someone afar, center then, zoom back and fire 3 quick shots, they should be dead, works for me.

i think its the best gun...i always use it no matter what lvl! :) :D

I like the M16 - but I rarely use it, only as a last resort when I'm either too bored, or I feel like doing something else with it .

Truth is, if you put ANY gun in 3 round burst or single shot, you can fire it just as fast as that one guy said. - In games where guns can jam if you fire too much, like America's Army, I like to put my gun in single shot, because I can click faster than it can go .

I am surpirsed so many people like this gun. I like it too. Last time I used it I had someone trying to fight me from a long distance with an M60 and I knew I had him. I have trouble close up with it. I have to become a better shot. As a terrorist it is one of the few good long range guns (non sniper). Other then the M14 its the only long range choise really. I plan to get better with it.
