Some will be less than eight words, that is why this is a GUIDELINE. We don't need every single reply to be long, but we also don't want every single response to be short. We are trying to make you post something with depth, not just a simple answer. If a simple "yes" or "no" question is being asked, a simple "yes" or "no" may be sufficient.
